What do I need to know about Rustic Collections before making a purchase?

Rustic Collections is a garage started, locally owned, family based business making unique home decor products, furniture & pet accessories from wine barrels. Each classic wine barrel product is individually handcrafted and one of a kind. 

What type of wine barrels are used?

Our home decor products, furniture & pet accessories are made from disused French oak & American oak wine barrels.

What type of finish is used on the wine barrel products?

We generally use Cabot’s danish oil on the wine barrel heads & staves to give them a natural finish. Where food will come into contact with the surface of the serving platters & fruit bowls, we use Gillys chopping board oil for food hygiene reasons.

Will the wine barrel product I order online look exactly the same as the wine barrel product displayed in Rustic Collections online shop?

The repurposed wine barrel used in the building process will slightly vary the size & cosmetic look of the wine barrel product you order online. This is due to wine barrels varying in size & shape from barrel to barrel. It also depends on what type of wine was aged in the barrel at the winery as this will change the colour of the inside of the barrel. The wine barrels may also have minor damage from transportation and can be weathered during storage.

You can buy a select range of our wine barrel products at Myattsfield Vineyards, The Micro Collective, Lady Jayne Collective, Creative Soul Sessions & Rockingham Creative Crafts.

What payment options do I have?

1. Pay in full when placing an order online here on the website.
2. Pay by credit or debit card when placing an order online here on the website.

How does online ordering work?

After placing your order online you will be emailed a receipt of your purchase. Once your order has been fulfilled you will receive an email letting you know your wine barrel product is ready to be delivered or picked up. 

How long does it take to receive my wine barrel product once I place my order?

Each wine barrel product is made to order. Our waiting list can range from 1 - 4 weeks sometimes it takes a little longer and sometimes a little less. It depends on how many orders we have in line and how many products you order. Our goal is to make a high quality product that you are going to love.

Is delivery of our online order available?

We offer our customers local delivery for online orders.

What is Rustic Collections local delivery area for online orders?

Our local delivery area covers up to a 30km radius from our Baldivis workshop.

How much does it cost for local delivery of my online order?

Local delivery is available for online orders of a minimum $70. 

Zone 1 - up to 10km - is free

Zone 2 - 10km to 20km - cost $10

Zone 3 - 20km to 30km - cost $20

When will my online order be delivered?

Local delivery of online orders is by appointment only of a Friday & Saturday between 10am to 3pm.

Is free pickup of our online order available?

We also offer our customers free pickup for online orders.

What is Rustic Collections service area for online order pickups?

It is only beneficial for online order pickups if you live in our service area which covers Perths Metropolitan area and Perths Greater region.

When & where can I pickup my online order from?

Pickup of your online order is by appointment only of a weekday from Rustic Collections workshop located in Baldivis.

What if I am unhappy with my wine barrel product?

We have a no return policy, which means you need to inspect the product for damage and issues. When your online order is delivered or when you pick up your online order from our workshop. So that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

How can I care for my wine barrel product?

If your wine barrel product is looking dull it is best practice to apply a coat of oil to rejuvenate & protect the surface. We also recommend to store your wine barrel product inside as it can be affected by the weather if used outside.
